Lola Soup
A warm, comforting and delicious story
“Lola” means grandmother in the Philippines. In this tale, a young girl learns how to cook one of the oldest, native dishes from the Philippines: Sinigang. It’s a soup filled with fresh vegetables and served over warm rice. This story is inspired by my own childhood, watching my grandmother cook food.
